Very Dull and insipid. Katrina for some reason has been dressing and looking rather depressed. Dunno what's up with her.

Horrible saree. Very bad. I know our desi girl Priyanka Chopra can do a lot better than this.

What is she wearing? Socialite and dress designer Nandita Mathani (and Kareena's Kapoor's husband's ex wife) is wearing a bizarre outfit. It looks like a dupatta draped as a saree on a strapless dress............

This has to be the worst outfit I have seen Twinkle wearing. It has a deep front slit dress worn over leggings with a dupatta added to Indianize it. Wow, creativity at its worst!!!!!!!!!!!

Again very unimaginative. Karisma is wearing what looks like a dress borrowed from the wardrobe of her '80's movie.

HITS


The bride and groom look good together. While I like what Amu is wearing I don't think what she is wearing is spectacular. It is along the lines of expected wear.

Both Suzanne Roshan and Gauri Khan look nice just by virtue of being draped on SRK's arms. Defi better than the others.

Amu's BFF Kareena looks great. She looks more like the bride than Amu herself.

This in my books is spectacular. The bride's sister Malaika looks stunning in her red lehanga and jewels.

The other star wife

Suzanne Roshan also attended Amrita's wedding, minus her hubby (just like Gauri Khan)



Both the star wives wore long dresses to the event but I prefer Suzanne's Roberto Cavalli dress over Gauri's Missoni one. Also I think it was a great idea to add a matching stole on the dress. But the question is, was the stole trying to hide a bump in the belly??? hmmm.

Bridal party

I am sure all of you were curious to know what the Maid of Honor, Malaika Arora Khan and Bridesmaid, Kareena Kapoor wore for Amrita's wedding. Well take a look

I really didn't care for any of the bridal party dresses, but when have they ever been great?? I am glad Kareena had a hit of orange to the otherwise dreary color. Hers looks the best and so does she.

Church wedding

We have seen tons of pics of our Bollywood stars dressed up to the nines in heavy lehangas, sarees and jewels for traditional wedding ceremonies and receptions. So it was real interesting to see them in a different avtaar - dressed up for Amrita Arora's church wedding.

The bride looked nice dressed in a traditional white lace wedding gown.

Brides maid Kareena Kapoor's beau Saif Ali Khan walked in with her sister Karisma.

Katrina Kaif was dressed very simply in a floral print maxi and minimal makeup.

What is wrong with Gauri Khan these days? And I am not just talking about her real dull Missioni dress. Her face looks all puffy and she has major bags under her eyes. Too much partying maybe? Gauri's sidekick Maheep Kapoor, walking two feet behind, is dressed in what looks like a Pucci dress.

I think our stars need more practice in dressing up for non-traditional weddings? Do you agree?

They are still wearing sarees

While most of the women attending the Filmfare awards this year were wearing gowns or maxi's, the hottest women there were wearing sarees. Take a look

I am pretty sure that is a Manish Malhotra saree Kareena is wearing. She looks gorgeous but the saree is truly nothing out of the ordinary.

Bipasha is wearing a Sabyasachi saree. Dunno for some reason I don't really care for the saree or the bikini top blouse she is wearing, but Bips does look great.Another Sabyasachi saree. From what I can see, it looks great. I have always maintained that Aishwarya looks best in a saree.

This saree minus the clip at the hip and the awwwwwwful necklace might have looked ok but altogether - disaster.

Though beige is sometimes a hard color to pull off, Deepika's saree looks nice and sparkly and I think she carries it off well too.

What a honor!!!!!!!!!

Sonam Kapoor is the first Indian actress who had a dress designed and sent for her by Chanel. Sure other actresses have worn Chanel before but they bought their own dresses or others like Freida Pinto have had their stylists talk to the house for them. But no Indian actress before has been directly approached by Chanel and has had them offer to design and send a dress especially for her.

Take a look at Sonam dressed in the Chanel outfit at the Filmfare Awards 2009.

I love the simple off shoulder sheath dress in beige. I abso love the way Sonam has dressed it up. With nice chunky uncut diamond bracelet and earrings and spectacular hairstyle decorated with jewels. So elegant and classy. Cheers.

Make a statement

So Kylie Minogue is visiting India. She is in Mumbai shooting with Akshay Kumar for a movie. I think they are working together on a song recorded by her.

When she landed in Mumbai, Kylie was invited for lunch to Akshay's house.

Kylie is dressed in typical Hollywood style - sporting all current trends - Aqua colored dress, gladiator heels, big sunglasses etc. Twinkle is dressed more formally than Kylie. Like the combo of shirt, jeans and statement necklace. BUT - while I love the necklace and the yellow shirt, I think she should have worn some other pair of shoes and not worn the big gold watch or gold belt. It might be a bit too much gold.

Akshay - what was he trying to do??? Match his shoes to his wife's shirt??? shudder.
